Premium Network

Multi-homed bandwidth, where your business has access to more than one internet carrier, can be the difference between 100% uptime and an embarrassing (and expensive) outage. This is why Latisys has developed our premium network - a blend of top IP carriers that are multi-homed to provide you with a stable, redundant solution. A multi-homed network gives your business the flexibility to withstand carrier outages or performance problems as you receive bandwidth over multiple carriers automatically. Our premium network is provided by default to all colocation and managed hosting customers.

AT&T – With one of largest IP networks in the world, AT&T has been a leader in providing internet access to businesses and consumers for years. Latisys has one (1) GigE connection via direct fiber link to AT&T downtown Denver facility as part of our premium network.
SAVVIS – A leading provider of network services, with a network that spans over 105 cities in 47 countries, we are proud to have SAVVIS colocate their Denver point of presence (POP) in our data center. Two (2) 10 GigE connections over router to router fiber is part of our premium network. This outstanding connectivity can provide your business with sub-2 millisecond access to SAVVIS’ four national OC-192’s.
Level(3) – As an operator of one of the largest communications and Internet backbones in the world, Level(3) has an outstanding reputation for providing superior connectivity for their users. Latisys has two (2) GigE fiber connections to Level(3)’s Denver point of presence as part of our premium network.

Built on Cisco technology, we deliver your data from our premium network to your colocation or managed hosting services through redundant border, core, access and distribution layers.

All network equipment is professionally managed by our team of certified Cisco network engineers. Regular monthly and quarterly maintenance is performed on all devices ensuring that they are up to date with the latest hot fixes and patches. Your ability to communicate is also backed by our service agreement with Cisco and our on-site spares for equipment.
