PII collected by Latisys
In serving its Clients, Latisys acquires, stores and transmits Client PII that may be regarded as private or sensitive. To establish service, Clients provide Latisys information such as:

In the normal course of providing service, Latisys creates and maintains:
- The Client’s account status
- Choice of services
- Client logs
In addition, Latisys may store client's electronic mail and other communications as a necessary incident to the transmission and delivery of those communications.

Use of Client Information
Latisys may share client information with selected partners, for example, to provide Clients with information about products which might be of interest to the client or to enable the customer to take advantage of special partner programs. Latisys may also use client information to provide its clients with system information or information about new or upgraded products.
We also offer opportunities for you to register for events on our Web site. In order to register for these events, we request certain PII from you on the registration form (such as name and email address). We use this information to contact you about the services and events on our site in which you have expressed interest.
Additionally, you may also register other users for these events. If you provide us with this information, we use this information to provide counts of attendees, as well as names, titles and company names to the representatives that will be running the event that you have registered for. We also export this list and all contact information collected during the event registration process and import these contacts into our company-wide contact relationship management platform.
Modification of Client Information
Clients may modify their Client information by emailing billing@Latisys.com or by initiating a support request.
Clients having registered a Domain Name with Latisys and wishing to change the Technical Contact or any other registration information can do so by logging into their domain management interface. Client domain name registration is made publicly available in the registry of domain names. Latisys provides all clients with full access to their domain account by sending them their own user name and password. If you lose your login information, please initiate a support request. We will resend the password to the email address on the domain registration record. If the email address on record is no longer valid, a direct request to the registrar is required. Thus, it is important to keep your email address current.
If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, amend, delete/remove or deactivate it by emailing us at Latisys or by contacting us by postal mail at the contact information listed below. We will respond to your request to access within 30 days.
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Latisys may occasionally send its clients information about various products and services that may be of interest. You can opt out of such mailings by sending an email to billing@Latisys.com. However, by doing so, you may miss important communication regarding your service.
If you are a Reseller, Latisys and/or its partners and advertisers may from time to time send you newsletters, promotional material, and other mailings. You can opt out by sending an e-mail to billing@Latisys.com.
Protecting PII in Public Forums
Latisys may offer interactive forums, such as message boards and chat. Be aware. When Latisys users voluntarily disclose PII to other users or third parties, whether on the Latisys system (email) or otherwise, that information can be collected and used by others, possibly resulting in unsolicited messages from other members or third parties. Latisys strives to protect your PII, but cannot guarantee the security of any information that you transmit to Latisys. You are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of any passwords or other account information.

Our Site includes links to other Web sites whose privacy practices may differ from those of Latisys. Latisys will not disclose its Clients' PII and account information unless:
