  • Custom Escalation & Notification Methods - Once monitoring alerts have been confirmed, Latisys will serve as your escalation and notification resource, generating a trouble ticket, notifying the personnel you specify, and relentlessly following the issue to resolution.

Advanced Server Monitoring

Latisys employs the power and scalability of the Nagios monitoring platform to monitor any or all aspects of your applications and systems, including network services such as SMTP, POP3, HTTP, NNTP, PING, and more, as well as host resources including processor load, disk and memory usage, running processes, log files, and more.

URL & Content Monitoring

Latisys' content monitoring is designed to closely simulate the experience that your customers are having on your website. By replicating this experience we can confirm that your content has not been altered and that your delivery mechanism is fully-operational and functioning within your performance requirements.

Database Monitoring

With Latisys' database monitoring system we are able to perform a collection of real life database test transactions to verify the health of your databases. Supported database include Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL or any ODBC compatible database platform.

Reporting

Reporting on the activities and trends of your IT services is an invaluable tool in capacity planning for your business and a great compliment to your monitoring services. Latisys provides every customer with an included suite of reporting products with their IT services. You will have access to the latest information right at your finger tips via the customer portal. Included reporting products are comprised of some of the following:

  • Bandwidth Reports - Latisys collects real-time bandwidth statistics for 95 percentile monthly bandwidth usage, historical data for trending analysis, utilization, performance and real-time bandwidth usage.
  • Helpdesk Ticketing Reports - Each customer can submit and track trouble tickets via our customer portal. Additionally, historical reports can be generated and accessed via the same interface.
  • Monitored Items - Historical Trend Reports - Latisys collects statistics for each customer monitoring point. Online reports are available via our customer portal for availability/uptime, alerts history and trending, events logs, and various performance statistics.

Additional and Optional Reporting products are also available for our customers subscribing to Backup and Managed Storage services, as well as to customers requiring statistical data from their websites.

Backup Activity and Utilization Reports

Customers subscribing to Managed Backup Services will receive additional included reporting available via the customer portal. Online reports include monthly backup usage, historical data for trending analysis, backup utilization and other backup variables.

Managed Storage Utilization Reports

Customers subscribing to Managed Storage Services will receive additional included reporting available via the customer portal. Online reports include monthly storage usage, historical data for trending analysis, and storage related statistics.
