Feinglass will manage company-wide team of solutions engineers; drive engineering development of new data center products and services

Englewood, CO (April 13, 2011) – Latisys today reaffirmed its commitment to delivering innovative data center products and services to customers with the promotion of David Feinglass to Director of Solutions Engineering.

Feinglass previously served as Solutions Engineer for Latisys’ Irvine data center operations, and in this new senior role will be responsible for the direct management of Latisys’ national team of solutions engineers across four data centers. Feinglass will also manage a Technical Review Team (TRT) that evaluates and approves new data center solution and product requests, and create training programs and materials to support the national sales team. 

“David is a rare talent who understands how solutions engineering can effectively interact with sales team requirements and customer support,” said Tom Panarisi, Regional Vice President, Latisys. “In one year’s time, David played a key role in helping the Irvine data center sales team exceed its annual quota by more than 30 percent, and we believe he will thrive in this new management role.”

Feinglass, who joined Latisys in early 2010, has been in the IT industry for over 20 years – the last 14 years as a Solutions Engineer in the Managed Hosting, Colocation and Disaster Recovery field. Earlier in his career, Feinglass was a Sr. Solutions Engineer at SunGard Availability Services, and Comdisco Continuity Services prior to that, where he designed Disaster Recovery, SAN Replication, and Business Continuity solutions for his clients, as well as Managed Hosting and colocation solutions.
