Englewood, COLORADO (September 30, 2009) – Latisys, a leading provider of colocation, managed hosting, managed services and disaster recovery solutions, is pleased to announce that it will participate in a volunteer effort with The Park People’s Denver Digs Trees Program – which seeks to cultivate a greener, healthier and more livable urban environment by providing Denver residents with affordable trees for planting on both public and private property.

 

For the Denver Digs Trees program, entering its 18^th year, dozens of Latisys employees will take part in the unloading and organizing of over 1,000 trees on Thursday, October 1^st, 2009 in preparation for the program’s new fall shade tree distribution. This fall’s free and low-cost trees will grow to provide valuable energy-saving shade cover for residents’ homes, helping them to reduce home energy costs and help fight global warming by conserving energy.
